“Stayed here summer last year and again this October. It is an ideal location and good value for an overnight stop from UK to southeast Germany and Austria, a quiet little village just 5 mins or so from the motorway, alternatively as a base for a few days for walking in the Pfalzerwald. The hotel is part way up the hillside, the side we stayed in has nice open views across the houses and gardens to the woods opposite. Our room was a decent size and clean and tidy, the owner who lives on site is welcoming and makes an effort to please and be helpful. The hotel restaurant is very good, with a wide variety of well cooked food in a homely setting. A 10 minute walk up the hillside takes one into the woods. We would definitely stay here again and happily recommend it.”
